An Iraqi soldier from the 1st Iraqi Army Quick Reaction Force helps a little Iraqi girl of the top of an Iraqi Army humvee where she was posing for pictures with the turret gunner in the al-Jumhuriya neighborhood of Basra April 28. Iraqi soldiers, supported by U.S. military transition teams, were welcomed into the neighborhood by local civilians who continued on with business as usual regardless of the clear and search opeations conducted by Quick Reaction Force 1, 1st IA QRF and elements of the 14th Iraqi Army Division.
